Mechanism of action
Imuno TF®
Imuno TF® is a food supplement to regulate the immune response.
It can be used standalone or in combination with other ingredients.
Imuno TF® maintains the Th1 responses in the normal levels, and decrease the Th2 overresponse.
Overexpression of Th2 can lead to inappropriate immune responses, leading to diseases such as allergies and asthma.
Who is it for?
Imuno TF® is indicated to be used for
Immunoregulation
Stimulation of the cellular immune response against microorganisms
(virus, bacteria and fungus), while avoiding immune
hyperresponsiveness and autoimmune reaction.
Immunodeficiency
Increase of phagocytic cells, IL-2 and CD8+ T lymphocytes.
Skin and mucosal infections
Herpes simplex, herpes zoster, candidiasis, condyloma,
contagious mollusc, flat warts etc.
Infections secondary to insect bites.
Respiratory diseases
Rhinitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, asthmatic bronchitis, colds and flu.
Recommended daily intake
Adults: 25-50 mg twice a day (50-100 mg/day).
Children: 10-20 mg, 2-3 times a day (20-60 mg/day).
Is Imuno TF® safe?
Adverse effects
In general, Imuno TF® is well-tolerated by adults and children.
Adverse reactions are rare. Some people may have a fever episode,
or transient typical flu symptoms, nausea and gastrointestinal symptoms.
Toxic dose and genotoxicity
No mutagenic effect is observed,
and the LD50 is > 5,000 mg kg-1 body weight.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
There is not enough information on the use of Imuno TF®
during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Avoid using it during these periods.
